Doorstep Green Play Area

The Treloggan area of Newquay finally has a welcoming, colourful, and safe space for children to play.

Doorstep Green Play Park was officially opened to the public on Wednesday 21 July 2021 by the Mayor of Newquay, Cllr Louis Gardner.

Representatives from Treloggan Residents Association and Newquay Town Council were also in attendance, along with many residents and their children from the Treloggan area of Newquay.

After making a speech detailing all of the hard work that has gone into the project, in particular by Treloggan Residents Association who have been championing for the project to go ahead for several years and by members of Newquay Town Council, Cllr Louis Gardner cut the red ribbon to open the park. The local children were then welcomed in to play.
