FAQs
Are the toilets owned by Cornwall Council or Newquay Town Council?
Little Fistral Toilets are leased from Southwest Water. All of the other Facilities are owned and operated by Newquay Town Council.
What facilities are available at each unit?
All facilities have an accessible toilet. **Note: The pathway leading to the toilets at Pentire Headland is narrow and larger wheelchairs may struggle, especially in wet conditions (potential to slip in the muddy grass so caution must be taken by the chair user).
Do the Newquay toilets use Radar keys?
Newquay Town Council does NOT operate a Radar key system at any of the facilities.
Do Newquay Town Council run the Bus Station toilets?
Newquay Town Council does NOT own, operate, clean or maintain the toilets at the Bus Station.
Do Newquay Town Council run the Harbour toilets?
The toilets situated at the Harbour have 3 cubicles in the ladies and 1 cubicle and a large urinal in the gents. They are open 24/7 all year round. Summer (1st April – 5th November). Winter (5th of November – 31st March) – accessible toilet ONLY.
Newquay Town Council clean these facilities ONLY. All queries need to be addressed to the harbour master or revert to the signs provided.
Are there any other toilets not run by Newquay Town Council?
The Steam Bar situated in the Great Western Hotel runs a community toilet scheme where anybody can use their toilets for FREE with no obligation to purchase anything.
