The Finance Directorate provides strategic leadership and essential support services that underpin the effective operation of Newquay Town Council. Bringing together the Finance, IT and Human Resources teams, the Directorate is responsible for ensuring strong financial governance, modern and secure digital infrastructure, and consistent, people‑focused HR support across the organisation. Through the oversight of the Council’s Section 151 Officer and supporting specialist roles, the Directorate enables informed decision‑making, delivers statutory compliance, and helps maintain efficient, resilient internal systems that allow all services to operate confidently and transparently.
