Memorial Benches

If you are interested in applying for a memorial bench please follow the following steps;

1. Read the Memorial Bench Policy and Donation Agreement to ensure you fully understand the Terms and Conditions.
2. Complete and return the Memorial Bench Application Form either by post or Email with your preferred bench location.
3. Your Application will be submitted to the next available Environment & Facilities Committee meeting for consideration.
4. If your application is accepted you will be provided a formal Quotation for your bench which will be valid for 21 days.
5. Following acceptance of your Quotation you will need to complete and return the Memorial Bench Donation Agreement along with payment.
6. Upon receipt of your donation, your bench will be ordered and installed upon delivery.

Designated Locations

Our allocated bench locations provide serene and picturesque settings:

• South Fistral: Known for its stunning coastal views and vibrant atmosphere.
• Killacourt: A tranquil green space ideal for reflection and remembrance

Donation Agreement

Your generous donation will cover the cost of the bench and its installation. The donation agreement spans 10 years, during which Newquay Town Council will undertake the maintenance and upkeep of the bench, ensuring it remains a fitting memorial.
